BIRTH & CHILDHOOD   Hi friends, I am Sudip. I born and brought up in an interior village of Midnapur, WestBengal, India. It is very near to the birth place of great ISWAR CHANDRA VIDYASAGAR. It was a typical village without electricity, road, communications  and other so called civilized minimum facilitates. But it is a village with absolute greenery,  fresh air, bright sunlight, clear seasons,  plenty of rivers and good fertile land. Though basically I am a rural boy of Bengal but my very childhood I spent at Chakradharpur, Bihar, India. My basic education i.e. Secondary and Higher Secondary completed on rural school. My Secondary School was "Panchberia Ramchandra Smrity Siksha Mandir". My Higher Secondary School was "Sonakahali High School".

   Then I came to Calcutta for my Higher Studies. I admitted to B.Sc. from Calcutta University (City College, Calcutta) with Economics (Which I think a great mistake of my life). Than I got M.A. in Economics from "Rabindra Bharati University", Calcutta. Here I lost some golden time of my life, but I gained a lot of memories, experiences and friends. The Degree of BLISc from RBU is a turning point of my life and an excellent decision of my life. When I was studied M.A. I was so much frustrated because of scarcity of job.
WORK HARD AND HARDER   But I didn't loose my hope and worked hard. I worked same at Sheevpur Engineering College( A Deemed University), Howrah, WestBengal. I worked continuous 7 hours in a days and sometimes didn't get opportunities to take lunch also. Still at the end of month I used to  get very less amount of money which was too less for survive. So I tried to earn extra by doing private tuition. Then I joined Central Library RBU as a data entry operator as a contract basis.
CONTINUED HIGHER STUDIES     After one year of passing BLISc I got chance MLISc at "Vidyasagar University", WestBengal, India. That almost one and half month I never forget. Daily I got up bed 5.30 a.m. and took one cup of tea with biscuit at railway station and caught EMU local train (at Santragachi near Howrah). I reached at Midnapore Station during 11 a.m. and took lunch at hotel and then went to class by walking 25 minutes in full summer of Bengal. I used to return my living place around 10 p.m. with tired and half dead situation.
TURNING POINT OF MY LIFE   My another turning point of my life is getting chance at Documentation Research and Training Center (DRTC), Bangalore, India. It's really a big success and satisfaction of my life. This single incidence gave me a huge reward in my locality. DRTC which is India's number one and a World renound name in the field of Library and Information Science. I successfully completed Associateship in Documentation and Information Science (ADIS) course. The system of teaching is really different from that which I gained upto Masters degree level. The basic education I learnt hers  was self learning. DRTC provides us all kind of facilities with excellent Library ( DRTC is a department of Indian Statistical Institute) with 24 hours Computer Lab. and Internet facilities. With our basic studies i.e. Library and Information Science I learn quite a lot about computer and its application to library.
MY PROUD   I have presented papers on different NATIONAL CONFERENCES / SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS and published papers on various peer reviewed Journals. I have been qualified NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TEST (NET) for Lectureship in  Library and Inf. Sc. Conducted by University Grant Commission, New Delhi.
MY EMOTION    I am very romantic, moody as well as very practical and hard worker. Since my childhood I am a great fan of old Bangla well as 'Hindi movies. Though I like lot of actors and actresses  but 'Uttam-Suchitra' and Amitav Bachchan are all time great actor to me. I like acting of Soumitra Chatterjee, Aparna Sen, Anup Kumar, Bhanu Bandapadhya, Amir khan, Kajol and Manisha Kairala. Salil Choudhuri and RahulDev is my favorite music director. Kishor, Asha of course Lata is my favorite singer. Manna Dey, Shyamal Mitra and Sandhya Mukherjee also can touch my heart. Being a Bengali guy I like football most. Maradona is my favorite player I have seen in my life. Even I am a great fan of Krishanu Dey and Romario.Kapil Dev is my favorite allrounder crickter and player. I admired Indira Gandhi and Margaret Thatcher as a great politician, and iron woman.I like friendship, natural buity, watch TV and all the good things...
MY HATE   Indian politics and political leaders irritate me more than a criminal, also very hot humid weather of WestBengal makes me mad.
MY GAIN   I have a number of good friends as well as bad enemies. I received tremendous reward from many big people in our field. My sweet heart Suparna is my lifelong gain. I believe in GOD and his blessing is my ultimate gain.
