A person having a strong background in Documentation and Information Science coupled with Information Technology. Since year 1997 I have been trained for Library and Information Centres, with latest tools and technologies by Rabindra Bharati University, Calcutta and the most prestigious library school in India DRTC, Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore.

My main objective is to put more than 100 % efforts for the achievements of the goals, which I set for myself time to time in my academic career. I have always been a student who is hungry for knowledge and always strive for keeping me up to date with the latest techniques in the field of Documentation and Information Science.

After finished my Associateship in Documentation and Information Science course from DRTC, Bangalore I joined as Project Assistant at ICAST, National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore. Where I applied my professional skill (specially computer applications) into practical field and learnt how to work in a team.

Then I joined at Karshak Engineering College, Uppal, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) as Librarian. Here I applied my Management Skills to maintain and managing Library and Information Centre and it's man power.

I have got offer from one of the best institute in world Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, WestBengal. I joined as Technical Assistant at Central Libary, IIT Kharagpur in November-2003 and involved all kind of Library Computerised HouseKeeping operations including Digital Library Initiative.

Since, October 2006, I have been appointed as Lecturer in the Dept. of Library and Information Science of Rabindra Bharati University , Kolkata-50
